Our Mission

The Maryland Distance Learning Association (MDLA) is an association of learning professionals who advocate and promote the coordination and use of distance education in Maryland and throughout the region.

Wired Wednesdays
Wired Wednesdays, one-hour webinars, are conducted bi-monthly. These professional development opportunities feature guest presenters and focus on topics related to technology and best elearning teaching practices.

MDLA’s 2010 Fall Event
MDLA hosts a mini-conference each fall. The event, which is free to members and guests, will be held during National Distance Education Week (November 8 – 12, 2010).

MDLA’s 2011 Spring Conference
MDLA hosts a one-day event complete with a keynote address, presentations, and special interest group meetings. The 2011 event will be held on March 3, 2011 at Sheppard Pratt Conference Center (Towson).
